Aging Home Care Services Disclaimer
Aging Home Care Services (also operating as Aging Home Care 4U) is a licensed Home Services Agency under the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) pursuant to the Home Health, Home Services, and Home Nursing Agency Licensing Act (210 ILCS 55) and the Home Health, Home Services, and Home Nursing Agency Code (77 Ill. Adm. Code 245). We are also a certified provider under the Illinois Department on Aging’s Community Care Program (CCP) for Planning and Service Areas (PSA) 12 (City of Chicago) and PSA 13 (Suburban Cook County), enabling us to deliver eligible in-home supportive services.
Nature of Services Our services are non-medical and supportive in nature. We provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), including but not limited to heartfelt companionship and support, dignified bathing and grooming, gentle dressing assistance, nutritious meal preparation, safe and joyful eating support, reliable medication reminders (not administration), compassionate personal hygiene care, thorough housekeeping services, professional laundry assistance, errands and shopping escort, personalized family-focused care, and safe mobility assistance. These services are intended to promote independence, dignity, safety, and comfort in the client’s home environment, in accordance with 77 Ill. Adm. Code 245.210, which explicitly limits Home Services Agencies to non-medical support.
We do not provide skilled medical services, such as skilled nursing care, wound care, injections, IV therapy, physical/occupational/speech therapy, medication administration, or any services requiring a licensed nurse, physician order, or supervision under the Nurse Practice Act (225 ILCS 65). Such services fall under separate licensing categories (e.g., Home Health Agency or Home Nursing Agency per 210 ILCS 55). If a client requires medical or skilled care, we recommend consulting a licensed healthcare provider or appropriate agency.
No Medical Advice or Diagnosis Information on our website (aginghomecare4u.com), including service descriptions, resources, and any materials provided, is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or a substitute for professional medical care. We do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or replace the role of physicians, nurses, or other licensed healthcare professionals. Always seek advice from qualified medical personnel for health concerns.
Caregiver Qualifications and Limitations Our caregivers are trained, background-checked, and compliant with IDPH and IDoA standards (including the Healthcare Worker Background Check Code, 77 Ill. Adm. Code 955, and relevant CCP requirements). However, caregivers are not licensed medical professionals and cannot perform tasks requiring medical licensure.
No Guarantees While we strive to deliver compassionate, reliable, and personalized care, outcomes depend on individual client needs, health status, and cooperation. We make no guarantees regarding specific health improvements, prevention of conditions, or results. Care plans are customized but subject to change based on assessments and client/family input.
